Current contest for first 20 members.

The first 20 members here will be entered into a drawing for a pet portrait sketch done in pencil. The drawing will be held after the 20th member signs up. I may also do the drawing sooner if I decide to. Posters will be entered twice. Posts must be genuine. Here are some pictures of some sketches I have done, these aren't the greatest photographs of them:

I can copy a picture you have of your pet, or you can send me a picture of your pet and a picture of a backround that you would like him in, or I can come up with a backround in my head as I did with the deer picture above. Winner can send picture(s) in the mail or by email. I should have the drawing ready to send out in one week. Care will be taken for pictures sent and they will be returned, but if you have a special picture, it would be a good idea to send good quality copies rather than the original just in case.

those are really good drawings Ashley!!!!!! does it have to be in pencil? u hav a deer??

I do work in pastels... and oils, however that would take quite a bit longer to do. However, I might consider it depending on what is going on at the time. Right now, I am doing a large painting for someone in California, and painting for my cousin, and another cousin wants me to do her a painting of a lighthouse, and her husband wants me to do one of their dog.

I could probably use charcoal too.

Yes, we have a pet deer. He is the sweetest thing. He is now almost 4 years old. He is a big ole buck. Sweet as anything though.

I might change it to a pastel, if the current members would agree to raise it to at least 50 members before there is a drawing....
